Bridge of Azaleas

     
     In this strange new place
     On a bridge of white
     Are you standing alone
     Do you realize, what you’re going through
     Are you longing for home
     You are crossing a bridge of azaleas
     To a land of no pain

     But my mind can not rest, only a pause
     As I lie awake in bed
     With this torture in my head
     As I soar above the trees
     Sorting all my memories
     Pray this man to be led

     Are you frightened and 
     Are you cognizant
     Of the place where you are
     You will be taken, 
     By your guardian
     To an eternal star
     By the graces of those beyond mortal
     We will see you again

     But my mind will not rest, only a pause
     As I lie awake in bed

     Pray this man to be led

     Are you all knowing now
     To the secrets of how
     You are crossing a bridge of azaleas
